Im almost positive at this point it is their software as it doesn't even have the requisite countdown timer for security access and they have the PATS functions in the body module folder which it is not in on this vehicle. Do not drive the vehicle and operate the test equipment at the same time. After much more diagnosis on my own and research on these forums and the internet as a whole it seems this has been a very long and ongoing problem with the Autel software. I can see all data pids for the PATS system, it just seems Autel won't let me access to program them. The Ford IDS VCM II will be required for all new 2013 Ford vehicles and is backwards compatible with most 16 pin Fords. I can access the PATS function menu from both areas and have tried both ways however once in it doesn't seem to progress any further indicating a bad tool software parameter or link allowing for the functions or some other fault. If the sensor on the vehicle is labeled as 434 MHz, select the 433MHz listing on the TPMS tool. update vci manager Updated Evolve and VCI software will not work with your PC. Thanks in advance for any insight anyone can give. All Autel’s TPMS tools can activate and read information from all current TPMS sensor frequencies: 315MHz, 433MHz and 434MHz TPMS sensors. When I hit the OK button it takes me to a screen that says "No Pats functions can be performed unless security access is granted" If I hit the OK button it returns me to the Security/Pats Functions screen.If I don't hit the OK button it never progresses further. No key programming, anti-theft matching can disable the lost key and add the new key’s. Comes with XP400, Advanced key programming: All keys lost, add key, change key etc. What I’m disappointed in is coverage of older vehicles we have all the old Japanese plugs Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, and it works on none of them, the only OBDI it works on is Honda, it’s useless on the rest. To support Crankshaft position (CKP) variation learn, both Autel and Launch can work (2015 year to the 2018 year). I can access the PATS Functions screen through Service/Body/Security/Pats selections which brings me to Passive Anti-Theft System info screen.
